We've received lots of new foreign films at the library in the past month or two. I've added a list of new Spanish DVD's along the right-hand side of the page. The links will take you to the catalog record for each film - so you can check to see if a movie is "checked out" or "on the shelf." I'll update this list again in a few days - movies are still being added!
By the way, if you'd ever like to search the movie collection at JFK, do a Keyword search, plug in your search terms (title, director, actor, etc), then choose Videos/DVD's in the Location drop-down box at the foot of the search screen. You can also zero in on a particular date range...say, "After: 2005" and Before: 2008."

Finalmente nuestra biblioteca tiene peliculas extranjeras! Normalmente es un poco dificil buscar peliculas extranjeras en los lugares como Blockbuster y Hollywood, pero ahora podemos ir a la biblioteca si las queremos mirar.

Yes, we actually have tons of foreign films. So if you find you're developing a taste for non-Hollywood fare, we have French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, and Polish movies-as well as Spanish. Many of the best films ever made! P.S. cuales te gusta mas? a mi no me parece que todos son de la misma edad, entonces, son diferentes en contexto y hecho que da un experiencia muy diferente a la audiencia.
Seria muy bueno si fue una manera de saber lo que esta por dentro de las peliculas como un "screenit.com" pero por peliculas que vienen de otros paises.

Muchas gracias. A veces películas extrajeras son difíciles para encontrar y nuestra biblioteca es un recurso muy bueno para los estudiantes. Tengo una recomendación de una película para la biblioteca. Creo que la película que se llama "Las Cosas qué Dejé en La Habana" o en inglés "Things I Left in Havana" sería muy buena.
